In preparation for the Paris Pastry Party here at La Cuisine Paris on Sunday February 12th from 2-4pm, we are inviting six lucky participants to help us bake a few batches of macarons to be served at the event !
This Paris Pastry Macaron Marathon is open to experienced participants who are looking to perfect their macaron-baking technique with our talented pastry chef.
The free class will take place here at the school on Friday, February 10th from 2-4pm. David and Heather will come by to join the volunteers for a coffee break and check out the tasty results.
The first six participants who email us at 'contact@lacuisineparis.com' (subject matter : Macaron Marathon) with the correct answers to the three questions below will be chosen :
TRUE or FALSE :
1) The principle ingredient in the Macaron Cookie is coconut : FALSE 2) A French Meringue is Meringue made by a French person: FALSE
3) The little circle around the Macaron shell is called the 'pied': TRUE - also known as the 'Collerette'
