Classes

Date: Saturday, July 14, 2012
Time: 09:30 - 13:30
Spend the morning in a French Market Cooking Class ! Start your culinary experience with our chef touring one of the oldest markets in Paris: The Marché Maubert !
Just minutes on foot from La Cuisine Paris, discover a traditional French market, learn how to pick the best products and compose your luncheon menu with our chef.
After the Market, and within a pleasurable walk through the Île Saint Louis, you will return to La Cuisine Paris where you will have a hands-on cooking class and work with our chef to create a gourmet lunch using your fresh market products!
Unless you see something you really want to buy for yourself, no need to take your wallet out, we will take care of all purchases on the Market (the class price is all inclusive of items purchased on the Market for the group lunch!). Please note that this is the one class where we do not have a set menu or set recipes – every class will be different! We leave it to the group and the chef to be creative and choose their menu based on the most beautiful products they find on the market!
After preparing your meal, dine with us. Wine included

Join us for a cooking class in Paris taught in English focused on France's most famous breakfast pastry : Le Croissant !

Le Croissant aux amandes (Croissant filled with Almond cream)
After preparation of your creations, enjoy them here with us, warm from the oven! Each participant will have goodie box to take away their creations (what is left of them!)
*please note that preparing a croissant from start to finish does normally take many, many hours of rising time (now you know why those little beauties cost more than a baguette!). We will have done some of the prework for you to ensure that you can go step by step through all of the critical stages, without all of the borning rising time inbetween. You will be working through each step to make your own homemade croissants!
