'Tis the season for a little French Holiday flair, and nothing says Holidays in France like fine French Fromage, Foie Gras, and a selection of Wines to pair it with !
If you are a French products enthusiast wanting to learn more, then this is the experience for you. The Paris Food Tour dedicated to Frances finest.
In this workshop you will enjoy exploring and discovering the best of these products, including learning the basics of French fromage and wine, while taste your way around France!
We start our workshop with a visit to our favorite local ‘fromager affineur’ to learn about navigating a Fromagerie in France. There, we will select our fromage to enjoy with wine back at the school. We will meander back to the school by stopping by our local luxury epicerie to collect our Foie Gras.
During our time, you will discover more on:
· the history and theory of the making of fromage and wine in various regions throughout France
· the importance of French food labels and how to understand what they mean
· tasting and serving tips for a variety of wines and cheeses
· the wonderful world enjoying fromage and wine together and what to look out for when considering pairing them with other foods and beverages
During the workshop, between the visit to the Fromager and onsite during your tasting, enjoy sampling a selection of 7-10* of France's finest cheeses ! Naturally to partner with your Fromage explorations, enjoy accompanying wines from various regions in France. We wouldn't dare have a Fromage and Wine experience without also having fresh baguettes, so there will be plenty of accompaniments from our favorite boulangerie.

We will be doing a bit of walking to the Fromager from the School, so please think to wear weather appropriate shoes and clothing!
*please note that we always opt for quality over quantity of Fromage. The number of fromage samples can vary depending on what is available and what is at its seasonal best!
