In this workshop we'll explore the world of French cheese and wine as we taste our way around France.
We'll start our workshop with a visit to the historic Ile Saint Louis just minutes from the school, where our favorite local ‘fromager affineur’ awaits. There, your chef will help you navigate a classic Fromagerie in France and you'll select some fantastic fromages to enjoy with wine back at the school.
During this 2.5-hour experience, you will learn all about...
· The history of cheese- and wine-making in the different regions of France
· The importance of French food labels and how to understand them
· Tasting and serving tips for a variety of wines and cheeses
· The wonderful world of cheese and wine pairings, and what to look for when pairing them with other foods
During this Tour and Tasting, you'll savour a selection of 8-12* of France's finest cheeses ! Naturally, your Fromage adventure will be accompanied by wines from various regions in France. We wouldn't dream of having a Fromage and Wine experience without fresh baguettes, so expect plenty of accompaniments from our favorite local boulangerie.

We will be doing a bit of walking to the Fromager from the School, so please wear weather-appropriate shoes and clothing!
