La Cuisine during the Paris Olympics

Tuesday 2 Jul 2024 / Category: Paris News

We are so excited to be in Paris and welcome you during such a historic time - the Paris Olympics! The city will be buzzing with an estimated 16 million visitors this summer, which means it will be important to prepare and plan ahead.

Digital Pass (Pass Jeux)

For the days leading up to the opening ceremony, we will be located in the grey security perimeter. If you are visiting us from July 18-25th, you will need to download the Digital Pass (Pass Jeux) to access our school. There is a processing time to obtain the Digital Pass, so we suggest registering for it as soon as possible to ensure it is ready on the day of your class.

Any over 13 years old visiting us during this period will be required to register online for the Digital Pass.  To apply, go to the Pass Jeux website and request a "Pass Jeux (Visitor) - Reservation within the perimeter".

Please note:

  • Your Digital Pass request will ask for a copy of reservation including your name - this is the email confirmation sent to you when you register for your class. If you have registered for multiple spaces in the class, either include all names in the reservation name, or email us at contact(at)lacuisineparis(dot)com along with the names of your participants. We will then send you individual confirmations to use when applying for the Digital Passes.

The nearest metro stations that will remain open during this period are Hotel de Ville (lines 1 and 11) and Saint Paul (line 1). Pont Marie, line 7, will be closed during this time. Taxis and other vehicles will not be permitted to access our school.

If you have booked a class with us from July 26th-August 11th, there will be no restrictions for visitors traveling by foot or public transportation to reach our school. Nonetheless, please allow additional time the day of your class to get to us, as we anticipate it to be a busy period. Additionally, there may be days where vehicle traffic is limited so we suggest planning accordingly.
