Why are we celebrating boudin noir in Perche?
In reality, we produce a lot of them, all over France. But the idea was to organize a commercial event around a local product, often referred to as sang-cuit (cooked blood). Those in charge at the time immediately set out to establish a charter with the professionals, enabling them to offer consumers a quality product that met certain criteria, some of which are public, and others guarded in secrecy.
The Paris International Agricultural Show or the Salon International de l'Agriculture is Paris's annual agriculture and trade fair, which takes place at the end of February or beginning of March at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. It is one of the world's largest and most important agricultural shows, drawing larger crowds than any other in Paris!
The Parc des Expositions in Paris welcomes the International Agricultural Show. For over 60 years, the show has been a major event. As well as presenting livestock, it is a showcase for regional products and international gastronomy to have their moment in the spotlight. The show brings together some 2,000 exhibitors for 9 days of activities. Visitors can admire livestock in the first pavilion (cattle, calves, pigs, goats, etc.). They also have all the latest trends for gardening in their crop section. It is also the spot to network if you are in the industry and discover the various jobs associated with farming and agriculture!
