Monday 30 Apr 2018    Things to do in Paris

Follow the Locals

Every month we have been doing an 'Ask a Local' section - but this month we decided to change it up a bit and do a 'Follow a Local' - some of our favorite Instagram Accounts to peek in to!

One of our favorite people for Paris eye candy! @Sofiinparis takes you on trips across her favorite city of Paris, from people, to neighborhoods to panoramic scenes! You'll certainly want to peek in to her musings.

A place we love to frequent, and when we cannot get there, can spend hours gazing upon their glazing. Whether here in Paris or from a distance, check out the beautiful creations at Paris's most popular doughnut shop @boneshakerparis

A dear friend of ours and one of the most prolific writers we know! The expert on all things Paris, especially when it comes to food. Join the world of @clotildenet on Instagram and while you're at it, be sure to check out her newest book : Tasting Paris !

No introduction needed here, but you're really missing out if you're not following @davidlebovitz . From visits to Vide Greniers (flea markets) to recipe testing, to all around his daily life in Paris, we love to see what he's up to!

The amazingly talented @jessiekanlosweiner is certainly someone that you want to have on your watch list ! An author, an artist, a cook, she is a bit of everything and more. You'll want to keep an eye out for her amazing watercolors and many beautiful publications!

Taking us on magnificent tours of Paris, one of the ladies we love to keep an eye on is @geeparee22 . Geni has a way with photos, and capturing that perfect Paris architecture!

No small account by any means, but you will definitely want to keep an eye on @parisjetaime run by the office of tourism and always sharing what's happening in your favorite city!

Speaking of gorgeous illustrations, we just adore @cookcoeur_ ! Take a peek through his feed and you'll soon recognize a number your favorite Paris pastries in illustrated form. When we say you eat with your eyes first, in this case, we really mean it!

One of our favorite French 'blogueuse' Emilie of @plus_une_piette takes us in to her world of Food and Travel ! A citizen of the world, but based here in France, she'll keep you hungry for more.

For those that want a bit of the weird and wonderful, and prefer the off-beat Paris art scene, you'll want to follow @thepocketfactory . Using a bit of mixed media, you'll find very unique art pieces - all with authentic pieces, particularly appreciated by those of a certain generation!

Regularly inviting us into his stunning Paris apartment and sharing his gorgeous pastry creations (albeit virtually), we love to see what @cakeboyparis is up to! All we need now is for him to bring one over to us!
